['dʒuːɪʃ'eɪdʒənsi fɔː 'pæləstaɪn; englisch »Jüdische Vertretung für Palästina«], kurz Jewish Agency ['dʒuːɪʃ'eɪdʒənsi, englisch], Abkürzung JA [dʒeɪ'eɪ], offiziell 1922-48 die Vertretung der »World Zionist Organization« (Abkürzung WZO; Zionismus) in Palästina; im Mandatsvertrag vom 24. 7. 1922 zwischen Großbritannien und dem Völkerbund verankert, beriet sie die britischen Mandatsregierungen (u. a. A. Eban) sowie das jüdische Nationalkomitee im Interesse der jüdischen Bevölkerung und vertrat diese vor dem Völkerbund sowie (ab 1947) vor den Vereinten Nationen. Seit der Gründung des Staates Israel (1948) wirkt sie als Jewish Agency for Israel besonders für die Einwanderung nach Israel und ist in der jüdischen Diaspora als zionistische Weltorganisation WZO-JA besonders im Schul- und Unterrichtswesen tätig. Ihre Büros befinden sich u. a. in Jerusalem, London, New York und Paris.
